An interactive gamic film will approach the comparative analysis of socio-economical and technological systems across a set timeline, highlighting the evolution of technology in non-anthropocentric fashion.
The film takes the idea of human need for some external higher entity that is underlying all the life, starting from animism to monotheism to faith in governmental order to social contract, to scientific enlightenment and technological progress, and reflects on analogies between these overarching ideas emphasizing the role of material conditions that enacted each of specific ways of relating to the external world. The film informs on the idea that technology is not solely a force assisting humanity, but an evolutionary drive in itself.
